As many of you know, I am a member of the AlzAuthors group, which has grown over the years to include a diverse and impressive membership. I love how the AlzAuthors library represents so many varied genres, from memoirs to self-help to children’s books. We have non-fiction and fiction books that focus on Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We have books for those living with dementia and books for their caregivers and other family members, such as grandchildren. Much gratitude to the organization’s leadership, who have tirelessly worked to encourage the group to grow in membership and outreach.
In honor of Caregiver Appreciation Month, AlzAuthors is hosting a book sale and giveaway. The promotion runs through Nov. 17. It’s a good time to stock up on books that are heavily discounted, some even offered for free. These books can make thoughtful gift ideas for the caregiver in your life.
You can get the digital version of my award-winning collection of personal essays, The Reluctant Caregiver, for just 99 cents.
Please share the giveaway information with fellow caregivers.

I can’t believe it’s this time of the year already, but November is National Caregiver Appreciation Month.
Supporting caregivers is one of the issues I’m most passionate about. Having been a family caregiver for my parents, I know how tough it can be. So I’m always happy to participate in the annual National Caregiver Appreciation Month eBook Sale & Giveaway hosted by AlzAuthors. All books will be discounted from Nov. 21-25, with many books priced at 99 cents and some books will be available for free. You can get my award-winning book, The Reluctant Caregiver, for just 99 cents.
AlzAuthors is a group of more than 200 authors and bloggers who write on the topics of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Many of the authors are family caregivers. I’ve seen this group grow and participate in many wonderful events over the years, and I’m honored to be a member.
In addition to books, AlzAuthors has a fundraiser going on through Nov. 25. Buy a cozy fleece jacket with the lovely AlzAuthors logo for just $44.99. These would make great holiday gifts for the caregiver in your life! All proceeds will support the continued outreach of AlzAuthors.

In honor of National Caregiver Appreciation Month and National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, the authors group that I belong to, AlzAuthors, is hosting an ebook sale.
From now through Nov. 21, you can choose from over a dozen books written by AlzAuthors members. While the topics of these books focus on Alzheimer’s and dementia, there’s a wide range of genres, from nonfiction to fiction and self-help guides. Prices range from free to $2.99. The Reluctant Caregiver, my collection of nontraditional essays on caregiving, is part of this sale. I had already reduced the price in half for this special month, but for the next week, you can purchase my book for only 99 cents.
It’s a great time to stock up, just in time for those long winter months when there’s more time for reading.
